Stars Sparkle at MTV movies awards

The Twilight Saga: New Moon” raked in a pile of Golden Popcorn statues at the MTV Movie Awards, including Best Movie, and Best Male Performance and Global Superstar for sparkly vampire Robert Pattinson.

But somewhere Andrew Dice Clay, who was famously banned from MTV after letting a few spicy verbs fly, had to have been quietly weeping. Barely an acceptance speech or presentation went by without being bleeped from the live broadcast at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, Calif. Mark Wahlberg, who was inexplicably suspended over the stage during an unfunny bit with Will Ferrell, proved to be quicker than the guy working the dump button. “Twilight’s” Peter Facinelli put every foul-mouthed celeb to shame, however, finishing off the award ceremony by letting fly with a pack of expletives that seemed to dance around the delay with embarrassing precision.
